Is ClipsX free?

Yes. The complete implemented local desktop product is the Free baseline. A future supporter plan is not currently for sale.

Does ClipsX upload my clipboard?

No. Clips, files, OCR, indexes, embeddings, credentials, and provider settings stay on your device.

What does an account sync?

Only selected settings and reviewed extension or command intent. Clipboard content, notes, tags, files, secrets, grants, and local model settings do not sync.

How does local intelligence work?

Meaning Search can connect to Ollama over a loopback address. You choose the compatible model; ClipsX does not silently download one.

Which platforms are available?

Windows x64 and Linux x64 are the first release targets. macOS will not be advertised as available until signing and notarization are complete.

Can developers integrate with ClipsX?

The extension contract and package tools are the supported path today. Hosted public APIs are planned, not available.
